Spirit of Wood: invitation and programme

The invitation and programme to a fundraising dinner for the Asian Civilisations Museum (Singapore) and the cover of the full score represent the royal ceremonial bird, the Burung Gagak Sura. This event introduced the Spirit of Wood exhibition which celebrated the continuity of a living art where visitors learned the origins, history and art of traditional woodcarving from the Northeast Coastal States of the Malay Peninsula. The event also showcased two compositions by Robert Casteels.
