A photocopy of a handwritten score shows a complete piece that was deposited at SABAM with a stamp reading: 30.09.96  634165. Above a signature with the date Feb-May 96 Singapore, the first page bears the following marking: the chamber orchestra is divided in three groups: group 1 on the left: flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin and cello/group 2 in the middle: flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin and cello/ group 3 on the right: flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin and viola.


In 1996, Casteels was Dean of Music at LASALLE-SIA, College of the Arts in Singapore. His children were then six and four years old. Oh Ah Bei Ah Song were the words pronounced when playing Stone Paper Scissors. In this game, each player simultaneously forms one of three shapes with their hand. Rock crushes Scissors, hence Rock wins. Scissors cuts Paper, Scissors wins and Paper wins when covering Rock.
