Terwijl ik volop zomer ben 2 zijn drie liederen voor klavier en mannenkoor geschreven in 1983 op de volgende drie gedichten van Ann Missorten: de aarde bedolven, blijf nog even en als zingende. De muzikale taal is atonaal met akkoorden van opeengestapelde reine kwarten of reine kwinten. Het laaste deel is een vrolijke toccata.

Terwijl ik volop zomer ben 2 (While I am full summer 2) is comprised of three songs for keyboard and men's choir, written in 1983 on the following three poems by Ann Missorten: de aarde bedolven (the earth buried), blijf nog even (stay a little longer), and als zingende (as if singing). The musical language is atonal with chords consisting of stacked perfect fourths or perfect fifths. The last movement is a cheerful toccata.
