Marion Hänsel (née Ackermann) (1949-2020) is a renowned French-born Belgian film director, producer, and screenwriter. She was a major figure in Belgian cinema. Marion came to Singapore for the 2004 project imagined and executed by Casteels.Takashi Kako is a highly distinguished Japanese pianist and composer. He won the Prize for the Best Artistic Contribution at the Montreal World Film Festival for his soundtrack of The Quarry (1998, directed by Marion Hänsel).
